ABOUT THE SERVICE

About Emotional Listening | A Space to Be Heard

The people behind the service

Emotional Listening is a human-led service built around one simple idea: people deserve time and attention when they need to talk. The service is designed and operated with care for adults who want a private, respectful conversation, without presenting itself as anonymous software or as clinical care.

Why we created it

Many people do not always need an answer or a diagnosis. Sometimes they need a calm person who can listen without interrupting, judging, or rushing them. Emotional Listening exists to make that kind of conversation easier to find.

What a session is like

Emotional Listening offers private, one-to-one conversations for adults who would value patient, judgement-free listening. You can talk about what is on your mind at your own pace, without needing a diagnosis or a perfectly explained problem.

What we believe

Being listened to with care can make a difficult moment feel less solitary. Our role is to be present, respectful, and attentive rather than to rush you toward advice or conclusions.

What this service is not

This is not therapy, counselling, medical care, psychiatric care, or emergency support. We do not diagnose, treat, or manage mental-health conditions. If you are in immediate danger or need clinical care, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Who the service is for

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over who are in good general health and want a supportive conversation. Sessions are currently available in English and Hindi.
